KINGS AND QUEENS WITH A LEGACY

THE LEGACY OF A THOUSAND WORDS.
It's a well off society, built with strong pillars in community backgrounds, beliefs and customs as well.
I have a story to tell, touching to be precise with a taste of compassion for the less fortunate in society..
I'm talking about those with disability; the cripple with no hand or legs to be precise.
With the advancement in technology, prices for medicare and equipment to support their day today live leaving them helpless and with nowhere to go, no occupation to support their families, no livelihood to be accurate.
From left Nadia Ahmed Lackhan, Mr. Calvine Sundys Oruko and Aryan Panchamatia
This story begins in a rather unexpected place, we say we need full grown scientists to innovate new ideas on medical care, they say, "WE FOUND THE SOLUTION".

A witness with belonging, a strong task to hold as a 16 year old scholar.
Well, I call them scholars because whatever they stand for is stronger than a nutty professor with the theory of creating a clone to Frankenstein the horror story.

Young teenagers mentored by one ambitious and innovative stud.
Or do we say Dr., Eng., Prof, and all those pretty cool initials that you might be thinking of right now. I know you might be wondering of who I'm talking about. Yes.

Say hello to the kingpins of a project worth a thousand words, treasures not only come in big expensive prices but also the tiniest of whatever impact you place to someones life.
Nadia Ahmed Lackhan and Aryan Panchamatia, two 16year old youngsters from D.H.T Kisumu Senior Academy have taken the lakeside legacy to a whole new level with the help of their supervisor Mr./Dr.Calvine Sundys Oruko.

A project directed to hand challenged individuals was displayed at the Young Scientists Kenya-2018 Exhibition at the Kenya International Conference Centre KICC on Thursday 5th-Friday 6th July and i had the opportunity to witness their amazing intelligence.

Their research showed that most handicap equipment costs for around $750 while all they had invented costed for just Ksh.2500. You're wondering what it might be right?..
Well, i called it the "intelligent slipper" but its true name is the KADUNDA FOOT MOUSE..
Yes.. An AC and Solar charged mouse is installed into the normal slippers you wear or any type of shoe wear you put on.
And guess what, that's not all, a voice input device is installed to make sure that one can also speak out a statement on what you are typing about and (ching!!) it automatically appears on your word pad.

So let's leave the ignorance back and look at the bigger picture here, who says the handicapp can't get employed, live normal lives just like normal people do,operate devices as spectacularly clear as any being would? None of us had the solution to justify our means.
But these two young intelligent scientists had the solution and means to end deprivation in society, degradation of the handicapp, mistreatment and poverty as well.

And guess what?. In their category, they emerged first.
In my opinion they deserved this, reason being they did this in thought of those even the simplest of theorists would never think of.
They had people's well-being at heart and stuck to it to the latter.
Kudos and a big cup of supremacy to their school, supervisor and those who took part in making their project a success.
To Nadia and Aryan, a poetic note to show the world of what a priceless jewel you are to the society and world at large:

A lions chose to defend its pride,
With a roar it stood its ground to find,
A queen and a king serve,
But a prince and a princess are priceless and bigger than a nerve,

Reality strikes the weak,
But the strong know the real tips in life with a click,
A pure heart moves endlessly,
And showers all we have with love,

The stars you seek,
But you found more-created the ink,
A solution to the world,
And a mouth to give word,

You chose to make it work.
The sky is the limit,
The limitless is what your hearts give and make it pure forever.
